National Sugar Marketing LLC is seeking a Salesperson to support the sales team in effort to generate the best possible returns to the Company. The successful candidate will function as the liaison with transportation / logistics/ planning departments to keep the Sales Team abreast of production capacities, freight issues, warehouse inventories and other critical information to support the sales staff. The Salesperson compiles and tracks progress of all quotes companywide and responds to customer needs for products and services.

The Salesperson keeps abreast of marketing conditions providing pertinent information to the Vice President of Sales for the maintenance of an effective sales and marketing program. This role assists other Sales Representatives, Brokers and the Vice President of Sales in sales and marketing efforts, including but not limited to developing price quotes, as well as develops and maintain customer database.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Periodically prepares sales reports and summary of sales and marketing activities.

• Moderate travel to client locations, broker offices, meetings, conferences and Company locations.

• Monitor daily contract activity and report abnormal activity to customer, appropriate Regional Sales Manager and the Vice President of Sales.

• Develop Spot quotes/business including but not limited to website leads.

• Performs other related duties as required.

• Direct & coordinate onboarding activities of new customers.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required in a related field such as Marketing and data base experience is desired.
• OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Must possess a valid Class A (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
