Contract Administrator - Commodity Sales

National Sugar Marketing LLC (NSM) is seeking a Contract Administrator in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible for system set up, pricing, confirmations and ongoing maintenance for all sugar contracts through completion. Support all company sales activities and objectives by working closely with Account Managers, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance, Credit and Member Partners to provide necessary reports and information. The position nurtures the relationship between customers and the NSM’s partners to ensure timely contract performance.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Responsible for entering contracts, sending price confirmations, reconciling and managing commodity contracts.

• Responsive to customer needs for products and services.

• Provide up to date contract analysis to customers, management and sales staff for the maintenance and effective management of customer contracts.

• Assist the Sales & Marketing department with sales and contract management activities.

• Generates weekly sold position and swap balance reports to member partners.

• Develops and maintains effective customer relations.

• Periodically prepares customer contract performance reports.

• Occasional travel to client locations, broker offices, meetings, conferences and company locations.

• Works with the sales staff on request such as contract assignments, combining contracts, calculating weighted average pricing, rollover calculations, contract cancellations, etc.

• Interacts with customer service and production planning for accurate pricing and contract selection.

• Establish and maintain effective lines of communication, cooperation, coordination, and an informal working relationship between other departments of the Company. This will ensure that the plans, programs, and their progress are in harmony with and contribute to the Company’s overall objective.

• Performs other related duties as required

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required in a related field such as Marketing or Management and 5+ years of experience in contract administration or a related field like accounting or finance.
• OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• A math aptitude with attention to detail.
• Strong Microsoft Office applications skill.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
