National Sugar Marketing LLC (NSM) is seeking a Human Resources Manager at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. This position is responsible to provide employees with friendly, accurate and effective Human Resource practices in all matters relating to Human Resources. This manager will accurately maintain all employee files, processes and paperwork and represent the Company in a positive manner.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Interview job applicants, check personal qualifications against job requirements, refer applicants to supervisory personnel for interviews and approval and facilitate employee orientation.

• Evaluate reports and results of hiring practices in relation to established goals.

• Network with recruiting offices and temp agencies to establish relationships, access future employees and build the NSM brand.

• Develop and administer employee training/coaching.

• Evaluate external payroll service providers, implement and maintain system.

• Manage the employee onboarding process for new hires and rehires. Ensure proper procedures are followed and required forms are complete and accurate for processing.

• Perform exit interviews.

• Maintain current employee files both electronically and manually. This includes the data input and filing of all employee correspondence, changes and forms that come through the department. Sometimes this information requires input into multiple systems and must be reviewed for accuracy.

• Manage all employee leave, including FMLA, which includes determining eligibly, providing paperwork and following up on receipt of paperwork, and monitoring hours.

• Maintain Affirmative Action programs.

• Work with Department of Labor in relation to Unemployment claims.

• Implement and annually updates compensation program; rewrites job descriptions as necessary; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.

• Administers the retirement, health and welfare benefits, training, and other assigned programs fairly, effectively and in the best interest of the company.

• Acts as liaison between employees, insurance providers and to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations.

• Process monthly billings. Review billings for accuracy, codes and advances for payments. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll and the company. Complete reports for management as requested.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required;
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources;
• OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities;
• PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP preferred.
