The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is seeking an Assistant District Human Resources Manager at our Twin Falls factory in Twin Falls, ID. This Assistant Human Resource Manager is responsible to administer, under supervision, the human resource functions at the factory level to include the coordination of policies and programs covering various aspects of human resources including, but not limited to, recruitment, interviewing, placement, orientation, training and employee relations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer, track and monitor all hourly leave, including FMLA, Union & Medical leave.

• Participate in employee investigations including the gathering of information, maintaining appropriate employer and employee records, notification to necessary parties and issuing of corrective discipline as needed.

• Assist in resolving employee and labor relations issues to ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

• Maintain daily record of all calls into the attendance line, assist in tracking attendance and administering corrective disciplinary actions.

• Administer the Union job bid process to include postings, collecting bid applications and the compiling of applicant information in accordance with the CBA.

• Maintain employee proficiency records in the HRIS, collect and store supporting documentation of these records.

• Assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts for hiring, onboarding and new hire orientation for all factory employees.

• Process Service Awards for hourly employees in coordination with the corporate office.

• Work with local management on all mass crew changes and process changes.

• Coordinate, supervise, support and on occasion conduct Supervisor Huddles & Toolbox Meetings by providing agenda, ideas, and coordinated interactions with other departments.

• Maintain information exchange between HRIS and KRONOS, working with other departments to ensure issues are addressed and information is accurate.

• Coordinate, with assistance from Corporate Human Resource Department, the annual wellness screening/health fair.

• Coordinate and attend locally sponsored company events.

• Evaluate reports and results of factory hiring practices in relation to established goals.

• Assist in the development and delivery of annual employee training.

• Perform other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree required;
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources;
• OR any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities;
• PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP preferred.
