National Sugar Marketing LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Analyst in Atlanta, GA. This position is accountable for the adequate supply of products for and the accuracy of data used to support inventory positioned at external facilities within the NSM supply chain network. The role conducts daily inventory analysis and works closely with external distribution partners to resolve supply, service or rotational discrepancies. The incumbent provides tactical support for the enterprise movement plan and works collaboratively with Accounting on the integrity and maintenance of inventory transactions for monthly reporting purposes.

The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible to forecast, order and manage the flow of inventory to external distribution facilities for an assigned group of locations or products, as well as develop and maintain a strong working relationship and open lines of communication with external distribution sites. This position will compare and reconcile internal book balances to third party physical inventory reports, as well as research and document inventory discrepancies on a timely basis. They will also monitor movements to and from external warehouses for on time delivery, confirmed shipment, cost effectiveness and market variations.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensure external facilities maintain accurate lot code information and product is rotated in conformance with quality standards and lot code date.

• Manage inventory returns or disposals and ensure proper documentation is initiated and reported to appropriate stakeholders.

• Administer setup data for new external sites and initiate resource identification in the JDE system for new products.

• Provide troubleshooting and problem resolution to meet delivery attainment and customer expectation.

• Provide backup and fill in for Production Planning and Inventory Control functions as needed.

Job Requirements

• Two-year Associate Degree with an emphasis in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
• Two years of progressive work experience in a warehouse, distribution or inventory planning environment.
• Understanding of warehousing and supply chain processes or methods in a food grade manufacturing environment a plus.
• Has a solid track record of relevant work experience with maintaining large volumes of data accurately, interfacing with multiple locations and overseeing the movement of dissimilar product sku’s.
