IT Senior JD Edwards Analyst

The Amalgamated Sugar Company LLC is seeking a Senior JDE Analyst to work at the Corporate Office in Boise, ID. The Sr. JDE Analyst, working with functional and technical implementation consultants, IT Applications team members, and project teams, will provide functional and technical design, configuration, development, testing, and production support for Oracle/JD Edwards Enterprise One and all related interfaces and custom applications. Production support responsibilities will include troubleshooting and consultation on complex issues. Priority focus (for the next 12 to 18 months), will be on Sales, Agreements and Inventory configuration, deployment, user training and support. The Sr. JDE Analyst will provide mentoring and leadership for other members of the IT Applications team.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Work with the IT Applications team and the JD Edwards users to foster innovation, provide business automation expertise, and recommend cost-effective solutions for the enterprise.

• Facilitate Business Process Re-engineering to include AS-IS and TO-BE business process design sessions

• Provide functional support, design and develop new and modified functionality, reports, forms, and interface systems in support of Finance/Accounting, Tax, Inventory Management, Operations, Payroll, Customer Service and other departments.

• Lead & mentor less experienced members of the IT team in the configuration and support of the overall Application Environment.

• Support corporate application improvement/development projects to ensure successful fulfillment of end-user requirements, accurate testing, training development, and quality implementations.

• Effectively develop and document detailed functional specifications, system process flows, logical and physical designs, use cases, and diagrams to translate user requirements into software development or package configurations ensuring content is relevant to expected business, technology, and performance outcomes.

• Configure JD Edwards modules according to business requirements and minimize the need for system customization to utilize the systems’ standard processes.

• Develop test plans and scripts to ensure turnkey solutions to customers; facilitate testing of systems, applications and/or system interfaces, and provide test cases for future regression tests.

Job Requirements

• BS or BA degree preferably in Management Information Systems or Business; MBA a plus
• Minimum five to ten (5-10) years’ experience developing and supporting JDE Enterprise One systems using developer’s toolset, SQL query analyzer and other tools; AND
• Significant experience working in a Process-Manufacturing environment.
